600V and Below-Epoxy Bushing & Stud-Type Bushing

For pad-mounted transformers with secondary voltages of 600V and below, the low-voltage bushings predominantly consist of epoxy bushing with spade type. These spade bushings feature a variable number of terminal holes, typical options range from 4 to 24 holes, depending on the current carrying capacity. Terminals equipped with 10 or more hole spades must come with additional support. A manufacturer-designed support should be affixed at the end furthest from the tank wall, ensuring it doesn't obstruct the use of any spade holes or extenders/connectors. Terminals should be crafted from plated corrosion-resistant metal, suitable for copper or aluminum connectors.

Stud-type bushings are also common, especially in single-phase pad-mounted transformers. Low voltage terminals for stud-type bushings must be plated with copper suitable for use with copper or aluminum connectors.

Daelim Transformer's pad-mounted transformers can be fitted with low voltage terminals compliant with NEMA and IEEE standards.

Terminals Greater Than 600V-Live & Dead Front Bushing

Pad-mounted transformers with low voltages above 600V are typically deployed in small mobile substations, connected to the local power grid. They serve to address power emergencies, construction needs, temporary power requirements, and specialized environmental conditions. In such scenarios, two types of low voltage bushings are prevalent: dead front bushings and live front bushings, extensively detailed in our prior discussion on "Types of High-Voltage Bushings for Pad-Mounted Transformers." Please refer to that section for comprehensive insights.

By comprehending the array of low-voltage bushings accessible for pad-mounted transformers, you can aptly select the bushing that aligns with your project's unique specifications.
