The 5 MVA power transformer was delivered to Canadian customers in 2023. It functions as a step-down transformer with a primary voltage of 27.6kV and a secondary voltage of 4.16kV. The no-load voltage regulator, situated on the high-voltage side, offers five adjustable settings. Daelim Transformer's 5 MVA power transformer is designed and manufactured in accordance with CSA C88 standards, cUL listed, utilizing high-quality copper windings and silicon steel sheet materials. It features reduced energy losses, lower carbon footprint, and ensures excellent fire protection, safety, reliability, and stability.

The 5MVA power transformer employs vegetable oil as the insulating liquid and utilizes the KNAN cooling method. This insulating liquid not only enhances the transformer's insulation performance but also prolongs its operational lifespan. Importantly, it poses no environmental pollution risk and offers high fire protection levels. A lightning arrester is incorporated on the high-voltage side. Transformer gauges include contacts, a low oil level alarm, high oil level trip, high oil temperature alarm and trip, and an automatic pressure release device.
An additional feature of this transformer is its anti-theft and anti-tampering measures. From completed transformer photos, it's evident that instrumentation is secured with a pentahead bolts instrument box . It is equipped with an external drain and sample valve with pentahead bolts. The high-voltage cabinet measures 1605mm in width, 665mm in depth, and 1765mm in height, while the low-voltage cabinet measures 890mm in width, 410mm in depth, and 1585mm in height.
