500 kVA Transformer Type and features
It is an oil immersed type single phase transformer with maximum power rating of 500 KVA. The transformer operates on 60 Hz frequency and is designed to offer additive type polarity. The transformer also uses aluminum as winding material for both high voltage and low voltage windings. The transformer is delivered in ANSI 70 gray color as required by client requirements and national standards.

Insulation and Cooling System
This single phase platform transformer is designed and developed with A rating insulation that can easily take 105 degree centigrade. To insulate the transformer winding and core section, the transformer is immersed in mineral oil. The transformer tank is designed to take 511 liters of mineral oil that not only insulation internal parts but also work to remove waste heat.
The transformer works on an oil natural air natural cooling system and is designed with two large fin surface areas on the left and right side of the transformer. These large fins ensure efficient waste heat removal without any need of additional systems like cooling fans or dedicated heat exchanger.
