15000kVA Transformer Production Process
The production process of a 15000kVA transformer has five parts:
First, the transformer needs to be designed before it is made. When confirming the transformer design, we need to pay attention to the two aspects, one aspect is winding, and another is insulation.
Second, winding. This means setting the number of turns and the thickness of the copper wire according to the technical parameters and winding it on the skeleton and using the wire to separate the primary and secondary poles.
As follows is the general worker’s winding method :
When the cylindrical winding end is made of paper strips, the insulation effect has been achieved at this time, we use straight grain tape to tie it to the first turn of the wire, start winding the first turn, and then place four tension cloths around the circumference while winding the edge belt (compression belt).
The end insulation is bound in a figure-8 shape.
Tighten the tape to tie the first turn and the end insulation together, turn the tension tape upside down when winding the second turn, and press it to the bottom when winding the third turn so that the end ring is tightened in a zigzag fashion.
In the end, the two early ends should be aligned, the first and the penultimate turn should also be separated by cardboard, and the two early ends should be tied tightly. Tie the entire coil with compression tape before cutting the wire.
Third, insert.
The coil that is about to be wound by the insert is formed by inserting an E-shaped or oblique F-shaped silicon steel sheet.
Fourth, dipping paint.
The purpose of dipping in thick insulating paint is to drive out the moisture contained in the insulating material and fill all the space air gaps with insulating paint, which can not only improve the insulation strength and moisture-proof performance of the winding but also improve the heat resistance of the winding. It can also improve the mechanical properties, chemical stability, thermal conductivity, and heat dissipation effect of winding insulation, and can delay aging.
Fifth, drying.
Put the transformers into the oven to dry.
Basically, the transformer is made like the above process.

B. Angular displacement
C. No-load loss at 105% of rated voltage
D. Exciting current at 105% of rated voltage
E. Load losses and impedance at rated current, on the rated voltage connection, corrected to 85°C. This test is performed on the high voltage connection with the highest measured value.
F. Applied voltage
