Daelim Transformer's 20 MVA 24.9/4.16kV Vector Group Dyn1 3 Phase Step Down Oil Immersed Substation Transformer boasts enclosed terminals on both the low voltage (LV) and high voltage (HV) sides. The transformer employs the efficient KNAN/KNAF cooling system, ensuring optimal performance. At a temperature of 65°C, the power rating according to KNAN is 20 MVA, while it reaches 26.6 MVA with KNAF. The 20 MVA transformer exhibits an impedance of 8% at 65°C.
The environmental conditions of the installation site are carefully considered, with a maximum ambient temperature ranging from -25°C to 35°C. The primary winding operates at a tension of 24.9 kV, while the secondary winding operates at 4.16 kV. Our transformer utilizes high-quality copper winding material, providing superior conductivity. The primary winding is connected in the delta (D) configuration, while the secondary winding is connected in a wye (YN) configuration. As for the insulating oil, we employ FR3 brand vegetable oil, which is free from PCB.

Daelim transformer comes equipped with an oil temperature indicator, oil level indicator, pressure relief device, vacuum pressure gauge, transformer fans, and an Automatic Temperature Controller (ATC) for both the primary and secondary sides.
The manufacturing standard for the 20 MVA substation transformer bushings adheres to IEEE regulations. The HV bushings are porcelain and positioned on the left side, while the LV bushings are also porcelain and situated on the right side.
In terms of dimensions, the 20 MVA substation transformer measures 4270mm in width, 3180mm in length, and 3245mm in height. The transformer's core and coils weigh 35200 lb, the tank and fittings weigh 22665 lb, the liquid in the tank alone weighs 13260 lb, and the liquid in the radiators weighs 1060 lb, resulting in a total weight of 73800 lb.
