IR Window (Infrared Window)

Each transformer is equipped with IR Windows on both the high-voltage and low-voltage compartments, allowing operators to perform infrared thermal scans without opening the doors. This design ensures safe and efficient inspections, enabling the early detection of potential hot spots or overheating issues. By identifying risks such as overloading, loose connections, or poor contact, the IR Window enhances transformer operational stability and safety.

Advanced Protection Devices

The 225 kVA transformer is equipped with a range of advanced protection mechanisms to ensure operational safety and long service life, including:

• Vacuum Pressure Gauge: Includes 2 alarm contacts for real-time pressure monitoring, providing early warning of potential issues.
• Pressure Relief Device: Equipped with contacts, it triggers an electrical signal when abnormal pressure is detected, notifying operators to take necessary action.
• Oil Level Indicator: Features 2 alarm contacts that alert the monitoring system when the oil level is abnormal, enabling operators to quickly adjust the oil level and maintain safe operation.
• Oil Temperature Indicator: Includes 2 alarm contacts—one for warning signals and one for trip signals. If oil temperature exceeds 70°C, the system will issue a warning; if it exceeds 105°C, the transformer will automatically trip, and the monitoring system will send a signal to indicate the fault.

User-Friendly Design & External Monitoring

• Externally Mounted Gauges and Drain & Sample Valve: Operators can test the insulating oil and inspect the gauges without exposing themselves to the high-voltage and low-voltage bushings, enhancing safety, efficiency, and compliance.
• Pressure Relief Device Protection Shield: The protection shield prevents external damage, accidental activation, and interference from environmental factors, ensuring the pressure relief device operates properly and reducing the risk of gas leakage. It also prevents contaminants from entering the transformer, maintaining cleanliness and long-term stability.
