Core Features
The transformer meets all relevant IEEE standards, ensuring reliable and safe operation in accordance with international electrical norms.
The design incorporates advanced 3D simulation and electromagnetic analysis to optimize performance. This ensures high operational reliability and efficiency.
The transformer features low partial discharge, minimal noise, low losses, and a high short-circuit withstand capability, contributing to long-term reliability and energy efficiency.
The sleek, modern aesthetic minimizes space usage and simplifies installation, making the transformer an ideal solution for environments where space is limited.
The 69kV 4200/5250kVA power transformer is equipped with both high- and low-voltage lightning arresters, providing effective protection against lightning strikes and overvoltage events. Key benefits include:

Lightning arresters prevent damage to the transformer and related power equipment from lightning strikes.
The lightning arresters reduce overvoltage, safeguarding electrical equipment and ensuring system stability.
By protecting the transformer’s insulation system, the lightning arresters help extend the transformer’s service life and reduce the likelihood of premature failures.
The lightning protection system enhances overall system reliability and reduces both maintenance needs and operational disruptions.
This transformer is equipped with an advanced air cooling system for efficient temperature regulation. The system ensures that the transformer operates within a safe and optimal temperature range, improving both its operational efficiency and lifespan.
The transformer operates at a rated capacity of 4200kVA. The capacity can be increased to 5250kVA with the activation of the cooling fan.
A fan powered by a 120V supply is installed on the transformer’s radiator. The fan operates based on temperature readings from the top oil thermometer:
The cooling system automatically adjusts its operation according to the transformer’s load and temperature, optimizing energy efficiency and cooling performance.
The 69kV 4200/5250kVA transformer is equipped with a no-load tap changer on the high-voltage side, adjustable in five steps within a range of 69kV ± 2 x 2.5%. This feature allows the transformer to adapt to fluctuations in the local grid voltage caused by seasonal and load variations, ensuring a stable and high-quality power supply.
Given the dimensions of the transformer (3.6 meters in height and 3 meters in depth), an efficient transportation plan was required. To achieve the most economical shipping solution, the transformer was packaged in disassembled sections.
Key components such as the high-voltage bushings, lightning arresters, radiator, and fan were disassembled and individually packed in wooden boxes. The transformer body itself was also secured in a wooden crate.
The disassembled components were shipped in a 40H container, which meets the transportation requirements. The transformer was securely fixed inside the container using straps and wooden supports. Additionally, the top of the container was covered with a rainproof cloth to protect the transformer from environmental factors such as rain, dust, and storm during transit.
