Temperature Rise

The S-500-27.6-0.48 three-phase power transformer has a temperature rise of 65°C, reducing heat waste, increasing reliability, and extending service life. The transformer delivers 500 KVA at a temperature rise of 65°C. The transformer meets standard CSA efficiency requirements. Insulation Fluid

The 500 kVA power transformer features degradable vegetable oil cooling fluid (KNAN) with a capacity of 145 gallons. It is environmentally friendly and can improve the transformer's insulation and extend its service life. If needed, Daelim Transformer offers FR3 vegetable and mineral oil that meet ASTM standards.

Gauges

The system includes a liquid level indicator, thermometer, pressure relief device, vacuum pressure gauge, and winding temperature indicator gauges with auxiliary contacts for alarm and trip functions. Not only can the operating status of the transformer be remotely monitored, but it also facilitates inspection and maintenance. These instruments are in the instrument box and can be waterproof, sunproof, and dustproof. We can provide auxiliary contacts according to customer requirements for alarms, trips, faults, etc.

Lightning Arresters

Lightning arresters on the primary side provide over-voltage and transient voltage protection against lightning, internal switching, or voltage surges. These lightning arresters are designed to intercept and divert excessive voltage spikes away from the primary winding of the transformer, thereby preventing them from reaching sensitive electrical equipment connected to the system. By effectively dissipating the energy generated by lightning strikes or voltage surges, the arresters ensure the protection and integrity of the transformer. We can provide arrester models according to customer installation requirements.

Valves

Complete with essential features for optimal operation, including a pressure relief valve to release excess pressure, a fill valve for maintaining proper fluid levels, a drain valve equipped with a sampler port for easy fluid sampling, and a nitrogen blanket featuring a purge valve to ensure a controlled atmosphere within the transformer. All these valves have protective covers to avoid erosion by rain, dust, etc.

Mount

Since all instruments, valves, and high and low-voltage bushings of this transformer are protected by covers, it is suitable for outdoor applications.
