With a capacity rating of 1000 KVA (1 MVA), this power transformer boasts a primary voltage of three-phase 13800V Delta and a secondary voltage of three-phase 600GrdY/347V. It is equipped with a 5-position tap changer, allowing for small voltage adjustments with two +/- 2.5% taps above and below. The high and low-voltage bushings are designed with a side exit configuration and a full-height bottom entry cabinet. Some accessories bear the Qualitrol branding.
Featuring copper winding material, this transformer enhances short-circuit resistance while offering superior reliability, mechanical strength, and a more compact size compared to aluminum alternatives. The transformer adopts a three-legged core construction and is air-cooled, eliminating the need for fans or mounting provisions.

Featuring a 65°C temperature rise, this unit reduces heat waste, enhances reliability, and extends lifespan, meeting CSA standard efficiency requirements.
Insulation Fluid
The transformer utilizes vegetable oil (biodegradable) cooling fluid (KNAN) with a capacity of 150 gallons. Daelim Transformer also offers transformers with FR-3 oil fluid, if needed, with an FM Certificate.
Vegetable Oil
With a molecular structure containing O atoms, vegetable-insulating oil forms hydrogen bonds with water, enhancing moisture resistance and delaying aging. Its higher breakdown voltage and K-class flame retardant properties offer superior safety and operating limits compared to mineral oil.
Gauges
The system includes liquid level indicator, thermometer, pressure relief device, vacuum pressure gauge, and winding temperature indicator gauges with auxiliary contacts for alarm and trip functions.
Rapid Pressure Rise Relay
Functioning swiftly and effectively, the seal-in relay provides immediate responses to pressure irregularities, helping to maintain the transformer's integrity and prevent potential damage or downtime.
