These 1 MVA power transformers were delivered to our customers in Costa Rica in January 2024 and have been in operation since then in photovoltaic power generation projects. Due to specific operational requirements, in addition to electrostatic shielding to mitigate harmonic influences, the transformers also incorporate anti-theft and anti-tampering design features. The high voltage side includes two doors padlocked in the compartment, with four high voltage bushings installed, one of which is a grounded spade-type gray porcelain bushing with four holes. The cables on the high voltage side are connected from the bottom.
On the low voltage side, there is a roaring structure with a flange, featuring three epoxy spade-type terminals with four holes. This design facilitates seamless connection to the inverter.
The instrument box includes a tap changer, vacuum pressure gauge, oil level indicator, oil temperature indicator, upper fill plug with filter press connection, upper filter pressure valve, and nameplate. These are installed in a full-height air terminal chamber equipped with a padlock. The oil level indicator and oil temperature indicator are equipped with alarm and trip contacts, which activate alarms or trips in case of abnormal oil level or temperature.
